Sturm (does that make him #1?) and Hatton was a 140 lbs fighter.

    So what is your point?

The Ring ranked Baldo... as their World Welterweight Champion after he beat World Welterweight / Undisputed Welterweight Champion Zab Judah.

Was it Just a bad night for Judah? Was it just one special night for Carlos? Well, as Floyd beat BOTH guys, the reigning, undisputed, The Ring world welterweight champion Baldomir and former champ Zab...

...so it means Floyd has beaten some really good WWs. He even won a fight a LMW so he's not avoiding the bigger guys. You could argue that he needs Cotto on his record but Cotto was nowhere (fighting for a Vacant WW title) when Floyd Mayweather Jr. became The Ring / World WW Champion.

So what if Floyd will actually fight Cotto... and defeats him... Cotto will be another handpicked guy from LWW?

if baldo wouldve paid the fees then pbf would be wbc,wba and ibf champ...when pbf beat judah for the ibf and then tried to unify with baldomir the ibf stripped him...so he has tried but politics wont let that be

Yup, PBF vs. Cotto is the only fight that matters. But PBF got there almost by default.

It's like a tennis player having an easy run to the finals of a grand slam event.

I don't care what happened in the past. There are three different champions(four with Quintana) now and they need to fight each other to see who's best.

Floyd would beat every single person at welterweight handily. He should be fighting all of them instead of rematching Oscar. Bums me out.

does floyd have to beat cintron, and quintana to figure out he is better than them, that is boxing there are no unification fights so floyd by beating the number 1 lightweight, castillo TWICE, then corrales, then the blood and guts warrior in a demolition, then the number one ww judah, oops he lost so then the number one ww baldomir, then fights ODH 15 lbs heavier and wins, then he beats the ring number one jww hatton by ko. Mixed in with these wins are emmanuel augustus by ko which is very rare, jesus chavez by ko with a broken hand, manfredy by ko quick, a beatdown of g, hernandez after just 17 fights to win the title....flotd is the best and if you don't believe it u don't know boxing

Oh FFS, it's about natural body mass, not how much fat you put on between fights. Hatton eating himself into obesity does not make him a normal 147er :patsch

ok explain how floyd is allegedly the bigger man? what weight did he start fighting at? how much did he weigh vs ODH 152...he is just as natural 140 as hatton is
