Well Cotto bowed out of the Margarito fight and some people call that quitting but does that mean he dosent have heart,no it dosent.Just a few fights later he took a twelve round beating from Pacquaio and didnt waver once.I dont think a boxer will give up on a fight unless its absolutely necessary. And they should be allowed to quit if they want to anyways its their health their risking

Im fine with an aged, past it, late-30s fighter quitting after getting hammered. Calderon didnt have to get in the ring with such a young, strong bull. He gets props for trying.

I'm in my 40's and fighting, and I tell you, if some young buck beat the **** out of me for 7 rounds, I'd stay down too!

Cotto didnt quit against pacquio? i wouldnt say it like that. Cotto saw things got tough and then got on his bike and started back peddling for most of the fight. Did he quit? in a sense yes, he stopped trying to win and got on his bike when it got tough like he did with margarito.

i think its cool that you fight. But calderon had thousands of people watching, paying, wanting to see him fight. You cant just decide to stop fighting! Its what makes people like gatti, ward, marquez, pacquio great. They will fight no matter what. Im not saying everybody has to be like that, but quitting in my eyes is just unacceptable .

He wasnt able to win the fight theres a difference between that and not trying to win the fight. If hes taking a beating do you expect hinm to just stand in there and let Pacquiao beat him more?Of course hes going to want to limit the damage hes taking.Do you think cottos a quitter or something

People will pay you the attention that you want because of your convoluted posts, and then they will soon be up on you Once you stop getting the attention, you'll stop using this alt, and either go back to your regular screen name or another alt.

Fans like you are regular posters who want to blow up Mexican fighters(not just Mexican fighters), so you use an alt to belittle the guy a Mexican beat, and then go back to your regular screen name once you've gotten your insults in under the alt lol... Anyone who thinks that fighters like Calderon quit, obviously are seeking attention, or just can't even fathom why fighters fight lol...
