Thank god, another discussion on PPV and Manny / May. *whew* I was worried that this forum would go 30 seconds without someone bringing up a fight that will never happen.

Rafael and Iole said 900k, much more credible then whoever wrote that article.

How did Manny allow himself to get screwed like he did by Arum? He allowed Arum to milk him dry and **** away what would have been the biggest payday for non heavyweights ever.

Doesn't matter (for those who still care about the Pac-Floyd fight). It's a race. Clearly Floyd has moved ahead of Pac and has a big lead. You can't really use Bradley's small name as an excuse. There's a reason why Floyd deserves the bigger share of the purse. He and GBP make better business decisions than Team Pac. GBP used Canelo + Mosley to help boost Floyd's sales. Why doesn't Arum use Donaire or Chavez Jr to help Pac's revenue?

It's not that Pac can no longer rake in big numbers, he's still very much a big star. But when we talk about purse split between Pac and Floyd, we have to factor in each guy's productivity. Doesn't matter what the circumstances are. It's about the numbers.

Both were speculating with the info they received up to that point, and made it clear when they said it. So none of these numbers are credible. Cause Arum wont have them released. So it could be 700-900K. Who knows.

Floyd vs Bradley would have done better:deal

    Truth be told...

Those numbers are LOW considering Pac's popularity..:yep

Arum won't release the numbers because they suck..

Fat dan according to his source had a 950k figure. not bad considering clottey has 26 fans including his family.

Mosley has never been the A side to a big drawing fight...and Mexicans aren't stupid. They won't buy PPV just to see Canelo beat on old welterweights?

Donaire can't draw flies to ****, and Chavez is already a huge gate draw by himself. Why waste his drawing power when you already have a big draw like Manny.

It did 900k, but if mayweather fought Bradley it would of gone somewhere around 1.2 buys

Which is bad since pacquiao did 1.5 buys in his last fight.

not really sure. mayweather has canelo in his last two PPVs. pac sold this ppv by his own star power. floyd against jmm did only 1.05M compared to pac-jmm which sold 1.4M.

That was after the hatton fight when he beat DLH then he started getting big PPV numbers.

marquez isn't a big draw so it was good at that time.
