    1. I think Hendo's right hand will not get anywhere JJ's chin. Machida is unorthodox and skips in and closes the distance which is why he had such sucess in Rnd 1.
    2. Hendo just went to the well with Shogun and at 41 can't have many more of them in the tank.
    3. Hendo wins brawls. No way this fight will be a brawl should it happen.

Jones dispelled notions of a Glass Jaw last night. Machida isn't a monster puncher but he hits hard enough and he landed solidly multiple times with little effect. I don't believe Jones is a certified Iron Chinned Warrior but he can take a punch. Can he take the H-Bomb? No, I seriously doubt it but Henderson will have trouble landing it given Jones ability to tie up and land to the body in the clinch.

Give Hendo credit, however, he's not the guy that just wings overhands anymore as his boxing has gotten a lot better. If Jones makes it a kickboxing match Hendo will struggle with the lateral movement and Jones' kicks from three counties over but the punching ability, both technique and powerwise, goes to Hendo. He can hit him and if he lands it will probably **** his world up, but I'm not certain Jones ****s around for long on the feet to give him a chance to do so.

Yep. He didn't prove he is iron but he certainly aint glass. He stayed very calm and got right back to the game plan. i think this shows how hard it will be for hendo, he cannot draw JJ into a brawl which is his only chance imo.

I hoped so but Machida tested his chin even if he hasn`t a granite chin it´s still no glass Hendo has to connect with a perfect h-bomb to knock him out but he hasn´t got the footwork to get inside a Jones-Hendo fight would look similar to Jones Rampage with the exception that Hendo would gas within 3 rounds

Did you forget when he ran down a burglar that stole a lady's bag? Do you think somebody "faking" grace and being humble would risk their lives for whatever the **** was in the bag?

Face it you have no damn reason to hate the guy and maybe that in itself is the reason you hate em. The guy is one of the very few positive young black role models around right now.

What does black have to do with it. There are countless young black male role models out there. Maybe NOT in your world but being black has nothing to do with it. Watch you'll see, this kids true nature will surface soon enough. Oh and about the running down the purse snatcher, remember jones always wanted to be a cop. Which explains his fake act. If you guys ever noticed most cops were bullied or the bully when younger. THAT has an effect on personality. Most cops become cops to gain back lost manliness.

Not here in america not famous ones anyway but, that's beside the point.

I believe he was bullied (i fogot where i read this) however not all people who were bullied walk around with a chip on their shoulder for the rest of their lives. Some of them do the opposite and keep their respect for other once they can defend themselves. Jones had gained any lost manliness he has "lost" by beating the fighters he did up till the point. I seriously doubt that was his motive. In fact i think it shows how stupid your hate for em is that you would reach that far for an explanation.

I saw what actually happened. It was pretty hard to miss. You're inventing bull**** based on personal feelings for the guy that fits with this narrative about him being evil incarnate. When there's nothing real to criticize, people like you fabricate nonsense.

    It's disgusting.

Look, I'm not telling Nuke how to feel about Jones. I'm pointing out that his personal feelings for the guy are so strong that they're distorting his perception of reality. In his first post in this thread, Nuke claimed that Jones threw Machida on his head then walked away laughing about what he'd just done. If you watch the fight, you can see that it's clearly not an accurate summary of what happened in the cage.

I have Hendo as my 1b GOAT fighter (Silva is 1a) but if you think he can beat Jones, you need to go back to school and take Biology and Physics 101.

Put it this way, Jones would absolutely maul Silva and I read threads here that Hendo doesnt deserve a rematch against Anderson coz He'll get beat again. See the inconsistency?

This is no longer a question of styles making fights, theres an obvious gap in size, skills and talent that I'm not remotely interested in seeing this fight. It is pointless.

What true nature? Like the true nature Anderson Silva showed by disrespecting Maia and Leites and the fans (in the middle of the global recession) by dancing instead of fighting? Or do you like the way he plays air guitar?

How bout Matt Hughes as a Champ? Read his book lately?

Frankie Edgars not oozing with cockiness and oh BJ was always a classy champ licking blood off his hands. Dont forget Tito in his heyday.

Rampage was a nice guy too, that is til he decided to try committing vehicular homicide.

What you should have said was,"Theres something I cant stand about this guy no matter what he does"

    Thats actually normal.
