Would your stance be different if Maccarinelli had suffered permanent brain damage as a result of the fight being stopped too late?
Your absolutely lost. Your so lost, that you don't even know what the hell your opposition's stance is, instead, you make it up in your own mind what they mean and what they believe, lol..... And your narrow minded labels of anyone who disagrees with you are so far off base its actually almost funny. But what else is new.
I do agree with him in part...punch resistance is important. But it's not nearly as important as boxing ability. Figters who have shaky chins like Khan and even Wlad Klitschko have learned to protect their fragile mandibles. Whilst fighters with little boxing ablity and great chins are generally nothing more than journeymen. In short, I'd much rather be a good boxer with a bad chin than a bad boxer with a good chin.
Yes. But it didn't happen, did it. I'm one of those who believes that, for the most part, fights today are stopped too early rather than too late. And that's the view that most boxing fans in my generation had. We paid our money, we want to see fights go to their natural conclusions.
Come now...You do what you do because you don't have anything better to do. Being a fan of the sport is fine, but wasting most of your day in a chat room is just sad.
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Actually, I spend most of days advising and teaching students, or doing research. I come here to unwind and have fun on the days when I'm not in the office.
don't post like this..you'll be pushing **** uphill your whole time on this board. stop talking down to people and meet their views head-on - and objectively - if you disagree with it. doesn't mean you can't press them on their views, but post with confidence..not on the back foot all the time.
What's funny is these ******s who consider themselves experts on "glass jaws" can't even tell the difference between a bad chin and just bad defense (which is actually the main factor in fighters getting KO'd a lot).
Then you have an awful lot of time to unwind. I suppose that's cause for celebration. I'm on here for about twenty minutes a day and you post about seven times as often as I do.
HAHHAAHAHAH Who the hell cares you pathetic idiot. Get a life. Any of the guys in those video with "glass jaws" would break your neck with a jab. These are world class athletes. No one cares that a mental handicap like yourself has 30,000+ posts hating on them.
The term glass jaw gets thrown about too much. Getting badly KO'ed by a big punch from a big puncher doesn't mean you have a glass jaw. To say Hatton has a glass jaw because he got taken out by Pac is like saying Duran had a chin of porcelain because of the Hearns KO. But fighters like Khan who have been hurt and dropped by non punchers is clearly a sign that his chin is pure glass.
Yeah, so, if Oliver McCall or George Chuvalo gets cracked on the chin by Michael Sprott, the same thing's gonna happen to them that happened to Fraudley? Sure. And if anyone believes that, I've got a bridge to sell them.
maybe you should put mascaev on this list...he has 8 losses, all by knock out..... he is the poster boy for glass jaw...unlike most of the others on this list
