Yeah, I have a bit of Walcot-Charles II on my computer here and it was definitely not a one-sided affair, Walcott did some good work on the inside IIRC

Nice work this. I recently wrote An article each on these fighters which can be found on the British Forum in a thread entitled British Forum Encyclopaedia.

The KO in their third fight was brutal to say the least. Two all time greats going at it :good

Great clip! A real showcase of skills by two all-time greats.

Does anyone know what's happening in the far corner on the right at around 9:50 as the decision is being announced? It looks like a man is having some kind of attack. I don't know if anything was said about it, as I can't get the sound very well.

I'm just going on what I've seen. Walcott did some good work, but the main thing I remember is Joe getting dropped heavily from a Charles left hook and Ezzard doing the much cleaner work. I guess that, coupled with the cards, is how I came to that conclusion.

I'm subbed to FightFilmGuys and saw this. A real treat. I agree with PowerPuncher. Pretty much confirms my sentiments. The technical skills Charles showed allowed him to push and close the show being the aggressor. Walcott had trouble landing and controlling distance. Charles was a special fighter, no doubt.

...re: jake mintz.....he didnt have a heart attack...seriously...he just got so excited his pants fell down. probably with some help with jake...he liked the limelight. he was really just a hanger on who wheedled himself into the charles camp when the original charles people were being pushed out.

Only two rounds exist of fight 1, four or five rounds of fight 2, all of fight three, and four or five rounds of fight four exist.

And the second fight was definately not one sided, nor did Charles boss Walcott around in it. Walcott rocked him to his heels several times and nearly dropped him once.
