    Like Father Like Son?

"Jersey Joe Walcott knocked out Manyunk's Harold Johnson in 1950 at the Philadelphia Arena. The strange ending to the fight came in the third round when Johnson collapsed. After looking good and out-boxing Jersey Joe at the beginning of the bout, Johnson was knocked down at the end of the second round by some hard shots. He was able to continue for the next round, but eventually toppled as he pursued Walcott, seemingly still dizzy from the knockdown. There was much concern, speculation of a fix, delayed payment of the purses. But in the end there was no scandal or misconduct found. "- Chuck Hasson Philly Boxing History

Also A friend of Mine who goes by the name on ESB "Albinored"(wishes his real name to remain anonymous) was live at the heavyweight scene at the time, claimed he remembered it specificully being a genuine knockout victory for walcott.

What happened was after walcott knocked harold johnson down, Johnson hurt his back when he fell to the canvas. If not for walcott plastering johnson, he never would have hurt his back in the first place...so its a legit knockout for walcott.

Didn't Archie Moore also knock out both Harold Johnsons as well?
