    I'd agree with this.

Good point, nor the Wallace or Satterfield KO's...Charles had killer instinct and all the skills to go with it and underrated 2-fisted power

Yes. Roy could do things Ali couldn't do. You saw combinations from Jones you never saw from Ali...which remember, Ali didn't even go to the body and he didn't sit on a lot of his punches like Roy did.
Take how Roy could hit you with like 6 quick lead-hooks in freakish speed and accuracy. Never saw Ali do that.

    Yes, more athletic as well.

KD -- A couple of years ago you published your own greatest pound-for-pound list in International Boxing digest. You had Roy Jones Jr.

at the top of your list. You’ve received much criticism from historians and others—typically older folks—What about Jones’ abilities and accomplishments prompted you to make such a bold statement? And how do you compare greatness in boxers? And would you still put Jones up at the top?

On a P4P scale Ali is just as fast I think. Watch his flurry against Brian London. Unbelievable speed. Ali had all the reflexes Jones had. And better footwork. Let's not even get into chin and heart.

I think Roy had better foot-work. Maybe equal. Roy was fighting lighter guys too and got away from them. Ali had the advantage of fighting 200+ HWs (for the most part) and they were slow on their feet. Remember what happened when Doug Jones fought him though?

I think Ali may have had slower competition considering the division differences. Again, Doug Jones to see what happens with a little more speed.

Chin and Heart is certainly Ali.

Just flurries. For Power, it's Roy. And even flurries, it still may be Roy. Have to think about it.

Have to think a bit which other fights I could pull up since this was real early in his career. As far as "flurries" go.

He is just taken his time but then he decides to pick it up a notch...skip to {Time} 9:08
