So Louis gets a decision win over Marciano in 1951. In 1952, he meets Jersey Joe Walcott for a 3rd time. What happens in this 3rd fight?
Walcott was past his prime by this stage, but showed enough against Marciano to convince me he was ready to handle a completely washed up Louis (whom he very possibly beat back when Louis was merely over the hill, not shot to bits). Walcott will still show Louis’ power enough respect to take no chances & win widely on points.
