haye gave us the blue print to beat waldimir but didnt attack him! if that was any other past champ the fight would never of got past the 4th. lewis would have shown him up and tyson would have knocked him out in two! i even think tua would have koed him. haye should be ashamed of himself for being so daft. i cant belive he didnt think to try combos later on in the fight. did he think one blow would finish him? i had haye for an 8th round ko. what a silly ******* i feel for having faith in him.
You cant really knock Wlad for his showing. He fought the best fight for him and stuck to what was working for him.I agree with most of what you said apart from Haye giving us a blue print.Corrie Sanders did that years ago.Haye just showed us that talk is cheap.
he kept going down so easily, that toe must have had too much of a physical and mental effect on him, which isnt a warrior champion thing to do. he needed to do the simple thing of move forward, throw head body keep going forward keep throwing straight combinations, dont let up.simple. he stayed to his pot shot, low output, counter style,he didnt want it enough. klit landed more, but he landed nothing much to write home about!,neither are as good as anyone thought, although eachs chin were a bit better than expected. im starting to think haye v vitali would have been better, even if i dont know who would win exactly. and now k bros have belts together as 2 made into 1 undisputed?! champ/s,they are still boring, how nice!!.
Wladimir is now one of only 4 fighters with ten or more consecutive Heavyweight Championship defences, the others being Louis, Ali and Holmes.
That maybe so, but i'd never have him in the top 15. Honestly, can you see him beating any ATG champ who comes to fight. His brother on the other hand is a different matter, who for me is still number 1.
But we're talking hall of fame here, not ATG rankings. Wlad's run and period of dominance sees him into the hall of fame.
HOF yeah, given Stallone got in this year.:yep But yeah i know what your saying. I put his title defences down to the **** poor division rather than how good he is mate. I think he is quality at what he does, and what he does is just enough. But i've said all along, as have many, that if you make him fight his gonna fold. Really dissapointed in him tonight. Fighting a man who was outsized and technically inferior to him, yet he still fought scared. It's obvious Haye wound him up in the build up, yet he still didn't have the fire in his belly. This was his chance again, just like the Ibragimov fight, to show us how great he is. He is what he is and thats a good front runner. Numbers don't mean much to me. I just see the fighter for what they are.
Wlad is clearly an ATG. David Haye found out what everyone else does that fights Wlad and gave up after the 3rd round.
