A timeline of Whyte’s 4 years as ‘number 1 baby’:

2018:

• turns down WBC final eliminator v Ortiz
• turns down IBF final eliminator v Pulev

2019:

• turns down WBC final eliminator v Breazeale
• turns down fight against Joshua for IBF, WBA, WBO world titles
• finally accepts a final eliminator against Rivas but it’s announced he failed a drugs test days before that was hidden from Rivas
• goes missing for 6 months before it’s announced he’s ‘cleared to fight’ and fights Wach 2 days later

2020:

• Subsequently moves his whole training camp to Portugal in the middle of a pandemic after being in awful shape v Wach in his first fight post-failed drugs test.
• knocked out by Povetkin but has a rematch clause.

If Fury wins he could call it right away then they would be screwed as it would go down tbe rankings. Unbelievable if Wilder has a quick gimmee he could be mandatory, what a joke that would be. Think likely it would go to Ruiz if Wallin wins.
