Wall in was able to cut fury and had about 3 good rounds and that's about it

I’m no Whyte fan but come on , he beats Wallin comfortably. The performance was down to Fury trying to fight rather than box which is what he’s good at. If Wallin were as good as people are saying he’d have beaten Fury with a cut as bad as that.

Otto Wallin isn't pretty good. Tyson Fury is just bad.

He's big and a southpaw. Don't see a lot of those. Would prob have ugly fights with a ton of top guys.

We all knew this would be the problem on here ,it WAS going to be a tough fight for Fury ,the next day ( NOW) hes reduced to a poorly skilled guy ? Yesterday the entire forum was talking like he was going to go to jail for murder ?:icon_popcorn:

The mental gymnastics some people are doing are just very funny.

Fury fanboys can't just say "Yeah Fury was really poor, some worrying signs", nope, being honest or reasonable goes straight out the window.. can't lose any face or admit their man was bang average at best.

I ask Fury fans if that exact fight happened with say... errr Whyte (who I'm not happy with by the way) would you all be on here saying "Wallin is Parker level, he is a lot better than people realise". NO you wouldn't.

If Whyte struggled with Wallin, was cut badly, huffed and puffed his way to a decision that some have questioned you'd be absolutely slaughtering him.

The time Wallin gets a fight with a legit top 10 fighter the Fury roadsho would have moved on, that's the only reason we are now getting "we will see when Otto fights somebody else, then we can make a judgement".

Go back and look a thing your predictions, come back and show me any of your quotes that were saying "Wallin is a lot better than you think, he'll give Fury serious problem".

Yup agreed. Of course Whyte fans/Matchroom fans will disagree though.

I think a lot of people are forgetting that Whye is a two-time drug cheat and not that good when unenhanced. Wallin might indeed take him down. It is a moot point since Whyte might never fight again.

Someone bump this thread in the future (next 3 to 6 months) when Wallin's team makes the mistake of taking a decent $$$ fight and throws their man in with Miller, Martin, or Whyte and Wallin gets KTFO in 2 rounds!!

Imagine it's Adam Kownacki in front of Tyson Fury on Saturday! People on here said Kownacki had no chance against Fury before the Wallin fight! I'd bet on Gerald Washington to KO the Fury that fought Wallin and Kownacki starched Washington in 2 rounds!

Whyte never fight? He isnt banned by any Governing body and is free to fight from what I've read.

Wallin being 'pretty good' doesnt mean he is great. I consider Whyte pretty good but not great and I consider them to be pretty similar in boxing ability. Whyte is slightly worse then Parker, Prime Povetkin, Pulev IMO - although he does have heart and that's why he has a chance vs all of them. Hence why I think Wallen would be a tough fight for all those guys. Wilder starches Wallin; as does Joshua. Ruiz outboxes Wallin imo. Whyte may well beat Wallin if they ever fought, though I don't consider him better technically. Wallin vs kownacki would be pretty even.

"wallin was pretty good" this was supposedly a lineal title defence. Its a joke!

I cannot believe it was classed a title defence against such an awful opponent, fury must be immune to the cringe, what a dork.

What you mean is wallin actually turned up and tried.

    What an embarrassment.
