MAN donaire is the underdog in this fight?? Walters hasnt beaten any good fighters yet. Whats your thoughts?
I'm thinking Walters has beat nothing but bums including a thoroughly shot to **** Vic, who managed to look good against a gunshy unconfident Donaire for a few rounds until Donaire remembered he's Donaire and stopped him again. Walters will be KTFO by Donaire, because remember Darchinyan was brutally stopped before 7 years ago in 5 when was worth something. Donaire still has power and Walters hasn't had his chin checked yet.
Not sure if Donaire had a good camp for this fight. Based on styles, the match-up actually favors him. But he doesn't look in that great of shape. On the other hand, Walters looks like he was in the trenches in preparation. We'll see what happens.
Walters chin is gettnig shattered tonight! as soon as Donaire's left hook lands Walters legs will turn to jelly
Walters doesn't move his head much at all and has some holes in his D. He's also off balance a lot after he lets his shots go, plus his hands aren't fast either. Donaire is going to land big, but what will tell the story is how well Walters takes those. On the other hand, if Donaire gets caught by some of the shots Vic got hit with, he'll be in trouble. This one shouldn't go the distance.
Yep this could be the fight of the night imo. Donaire hasn't looked all that great since Rigo and Walters has unanswered questions. Should or will be a good fight but I think Donaire will take this, I think deep down he has a bit of fear in his belly regarding Walters.
My thoughts are that Donaire should be able to counter over Walter's right hand. Walters is being built up as this monster. He is a HUGE 126 pounder, NOT! People need to stop with the nonsense. Walters is 5'7, so what he has an inch on Donaire. Rigondeaux fought Cordoba and Marroquin two 5'9 guys and Rigs is like 5'2 or 3. Walters isn't ready for somebody like Donaire yet, even an unfocused Donaire. Walters feet still aren't in sync with his body yet, as far as footwork and coordination, although they are improving fight by fight. This is a fight that Walters would eat up, had it been two fights down the line. Walters still has a lot of flaws, is still green and somewhat awkward. He also isn't fast. I am not sure where people started talking up his speed, but he is average at best. This fight is entirely on Donaire in my opinion. If a focused Donaire shows up, he wins. If Donaire can take his punch, he wins. Donaire does everything better than Walters. He can box on his toes better. He has faster hands, and he is more athletic. If his chin holds up he wins.
Donaire is a special athlete and can easily outbox Walters who is big but very basic. A win over darchinyan means nothing imo. Donaires footwork is soo much better than anything Walters has seen before. I'm making money on Donaire tonight
