i like Walters in this one. he's big at the weight and has a good punch. but, has he got a good Boxing brain going for him?

if he plans on pressing forward on Nonito, will he overreach and be in the firing line for Nonito's counter? he needs to step behind a jab bit by bit to get the job done, not rush forward. that's the only way Nonito comes out with a win, by the mistakes of Walters. because lets be honest, his Boxing ability is really lacking. he also doesn't like going forward himself in case he gets countered, we all saw that against Rigo.

Walters fight to lose for me.

wow, a whole 20 bucks on the favorite ? donair should win easily, granted I have seen only 2 walters fights, but that should be enough. walters isn't a special fighter at all and you need to be special to compete, never mind beat nonito.

he has been drastically under rated due to coming in completely unprepared and over confident vs rigo. I think he beats rigo in a rematch when rigo gets the cahoonas to move up

You can either step up to the plate or keep fighting tomato cans like Gary Russell jr

Walters beat Darchinyan way more convincingly than Donaire did at featherweight.

You also point out Walters flaws but gloss over Donaire's flaws. Donaire has one punch (his left hook) and that is pretty much it. He isn't any more or less defensively gifted than Walters is. Donaire is used to knocking out much smaller men and usually being the bigger guy. He won't have that advantage here.

Go watch his fight with Vasquez Jr. at 122 pounds. He was being outboxed in that fight and was able to drop Vasquez which changed the fight (and got him the win). Vasquez isn't all that good either, he struggled with an old Arce.

IDK I just feel like Donaire is extremely overrated. He has some quality wins but it was usually against smaller men and he just blasted them out. We'll see if he can do that to Walters, because if he doesn't I dont think he wins.

Lol, you do realize donaire's first win had more meaning than Walters win over Vic.

Exactly. I know a knockout when I see one. Walters has one helluva reach.

Donaire went out swinging. I'm proud of him but tonight was Walters night.

    Loma Walters would be great
