Ehh... it turned out that my assessment was pretty much correct. Donaire landed big (see Round 2), but Axeman got through it, as opposed to being stopped. Once the tables were turned and Donaire got caught, he was in deep trouble (and he WAS stopped). I didn't expect Donaire to be able to take Axeman's power if the tables were turned. The better fighter won inside the distance. :deal Anyway... I may not have gone in about Donaire's weaknesses the way you did, but that's not to say I disagree with anything you said. Donaire had most of his success headhunting and finding counters against smaller guys, some of whom were past their shelf life. He deserves credit for being the first to stop Vic in a way that no one had done at that point in his career... however, that spectacular win might've actually hindered his overall progression as a fighter. He fought as if he had to win every fight like that. Rigo dismantled Nonito because Rigo is a FAR better boxer. Credit to Walters for closing the show. I won't miss any of his upcoming fights. :bbb
