Might be the case. For his sake, I hope he has a Duran-like resurgence after No Mas. Walters is a good fighter.
The post-fight interview will hurt his chances of coming back moreso than the quitting IMO. I'm on the same page as NBO and hope he comes back. Also, Loma only had the one fight in the meantime since Sosa got the gift draw. I know Walters wanted to knock the rust off, but Loma himself didn't have an active 2016, either.
