Walters trying to price himself out of the Lomachenko fight

    HBO offered Top Rank $1 million for Lomachenko - Walters but that Walters (offered $350k and then bumped to $435k) wants $1 million for himself.

    These supposedly top fighters are avoiding Lomachenko like the plague.

    It got bumped to $435k, but that is still not enough for the mini Jamaican Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. who thinks he is with Haymon.

    Lomachenko has yet to headline and Walters is no star when it comes to ratings.
    1 mil between the two seems fair, Walters asking for a mil is a big stretch.

    You're one of the only black guys who doesn't like Lomachenko. All 5 of Loma's favourite fighters are black (SRR, SRL, PBF, Tyson, Ali)

    Walters is going for the financial duck route I see. If he does indeed price himself out,
    This content is protected
    because he doesn't want to risk having a loss on his record, when there are other winnable fights that are better for his long term financial prospects.
