Walters wants Johnny Gonzalez next! SIGN THAT FIGHT!!

Love this fight! Give me Walters by knockout, but Gonzo's left hook is so powerful, it's measured in megatons. Hell of a fight.

 

That's even worse, lomachenko gets more of the purse and he's unknown compared to gonzales. Even if it's an easier fight to make the better fight is gonzales. They both offer a belt but one is more proven and well known. Plus walters doesn't make the fights he just trains, he leaves everything else to his handlers. Lomachenko has nothing over gonzales in terms of rewards. Salido beat him and no one is praising salido for it.

 

Walters v Gonzalez is an absolute dream fight.

 

Gonzalez may be more proven in the pros as you say, but he's definitely not considered better than Lomachenko. The bookies would likely make Loma the favorite over everyone in the division including both Walters and Jhonny, and there is a good reason for that.

Gonzalez obviously comes to fight, hit and be hit. Loma's approach is completely different and much more difficult for Walters to deal with, and the Jamaican would maybe find himself in a situation where he's unable to land anything.

If Walters wants Gonzalez first, fine, nobody is complaining, but there's much more than that "because Gonzalez is more popular" explanation.

Walters can be a very difficult night out for anyone, especially a fighter with chin problems such as Jhonny. A showdown against Gonzalez will be a unification bout but it would be a winnable fight for Walters that would practically cement his name as the top dog at 126

 

Anyone at 130 to 135 have a good chance against Walters?

 

I'd like to see Lomachenko fight the winner of this fight.

 

This is great man, champions wanting to fight each other. 126 is looking very nice, especially if Rigo moves up, its easily the best division.

 

It seems like it's much easier to get the fights from 130 down made. I wish that were the case in the higher weight classes. :-(

he took out two guys I have liked for years in darch and donaire,but he did it hundred percent legit, I wanna know how far he can go. its cool the dude is from Jamaica where you dont often see world class fighters. good for him. he has those freakish arms. I want to see him in with Gonzalez and if he wins there Arum will probably make Loma vs Walters . I would say Walters should hold out and gain more exp before a Loma fight but Loma is only going to get better as well with more fights so it makes me kind of want to see it now
