I dont think either even knew Yuji Shimada was there. This was the great thing about PRIDE. Those fighters reminded me alot of the boxers from the 30's 40's etc. Just insanely tough.

i actually think that staredown is from their first fight which was a Draw, i might be wrong though.

 

It was. The second fight was FAR better. One of the most brutal beatings EVER in the history of MMA.

 

That was just weird and awkward. neither looked overly mean or nasty, in fact to me it looked more like two guys weirdly staring at each other.

 

yeah that sucked but, it was funny to see that beast manhoef in a tiny suit :yep
