The fight is in the North East farming region of Issan in the large but quiet rural town of Korat. This is where 80% of Thai fighting stock come from. You couldn't find a more different town than glitzy Vegas where Floyd created his legend in front of big adoring crowds.

Wan will equal that elite illustrious record in a hastily constructed ring in a gravel car park infront of less than 100 spectators, mainly just sponsors, officials and rural locals asked to come and watch to give a semblance of a crowd for TV, most of which don't even know who he is and have no interest or understanding of that 50 & 0 significance.

Wanheng is ripe for a loss but I don’t think Estrada is the one to do it. I thought Jerusalem beat Wanheng and the Fukuhara fight was really close (ignore the shitty scorecards). Estrada’s hit and run style/decent reach may trouble Wanheng at times but I can’t see him winning it. He lost his last fight against Juarez (ignore the shitty scorecards again). If Wanheng didn’t grow super old over night, he should win an 8-4/9-3 decision.

 

Yeah and not that triangle theory means much... But Wanheng CLEARLY beat Juarez. He may be slipping a bit but it will probably be someone better than Estrada wgo dethrones him.

 

This is poised to be yet another disingenuous fan proxy war.

Probably nobody outside Thailand cares about Moonsuree, and literally nobody cares about Estrada (not even in Panama).

Rest assured, though, people will pay rapt attention here because of the possibility of Mayweather's record getting broken, with the fanatics rooting vociferously on a fair-weather ad-hoc basis for Estrada while the haters will all of a sudden become massive "passionate" Moonsuree backers.
