Or Tommy Hearns sparring Mike McCallum? Ali and Ingemar Johansson? Holyfield and Tua? This is the best youtube boxing video I've seen in a long time.

Tyson McCall that was no "sparring" that was war! What a chin that man has.

    That’s awesome man.

    Thanks a lot.

I’d seen some of them before, but not all of them.

How much money would you have paid to have gone to the Kronk back then.

Do you know if Mike ever sparred Gerald?

You know what my final question is going to be.

What do think the results would have been if those fights had actually happened in the pros?

Lotta' money. Kronk was a hopping place when Steward was alive. Not a lot of gyms with that much talent.

No, I don't know if Mike McCallum ever sparred Gerald. The guy who put that video together might though. Shout out to Rainy Day Boxing. But speaking of Kronk and Hearns, you ever see that amateur war between Hearns and Pryor? I love that one.

In the pros, I'd say Toney beats McClellan, if Hearns' chin holds up he beats McCallum, Ali pastes Johansson, Holyfield dominates and stops Tua in a FOTY like his Bowe bouts or Tua vs Ibeabuchi. Mike Tyson vs Oliver McCall I think Oliver comes out strong the first four rounds, but loses mental energy in the middle and finishes the fight just hanging in there in sparring mode. His chin is made of granite so I think he sees the final bell, but he lacked the confidence to really shine when the going got tough.

I’ve never seen the Hearns - Pryor video before.

    That’s great!

    Many thanks!

I agree with all of your picks, but I’ve never been sure on Mike - Hearns. That’s a 50/50 for me, I can’t decide.

I’d have loved to have seen Toney vs Gerald. I think a lot of people may have favoured Gerald there. But like yourself, I’m thinking that James could have pulled out the win. I like him on a decision.

    Great thread mate.

I’d like to read Serge’s opinion, but I don’t know how you tag people.
