just got back home, in all seriousness, yes I was absolutely wrong, Pavlik did get cut, I mean the second major cut after which Martinez came back, but that isn't to say Pavlik would have won, I didn't think it would be competitive for very long and boy was I wrong......that about cleans me out, under a hundred bucks in my betting account, and I don't put more in, so, oh one other thing....

I had Martinez by three points, he deserved the win, he earned it.

Martinez won the first four rounds, then the fight was even after seven because of the KD, then the second cut seemed to take Pavlik out of his game entirely, however, Martinez stepped up and in (and out and back in repeat rinse) and thats what caused the cuts - punches.

So, has Pavlik slipped? Maybe so. Or maybe the cuts made it seem that way. I don't know.

I do know that the right man won.
