    :deal Definitely. Both Hagler and Duran were highly skilled. I think just that most people or casual fans might remember them for their most famous fights, such as Duran-Leonard as Duran the agressor the swarmer who frequently cut off the ring and Hagler-Hearns, where Hagler also having great boxing skill instead went toe to toe with Tommy.

    Likewise, people think of Leonard too much as being fleet-footed. He danced on his toes against Duran in the rematch, and against Hagler.

    Usually, he was a flat footed boxer, who also had a killer left hook and vicious finishing skills.

    I'm not sure if any fighter's style is remembered incorrectly more than Hagler, except maybe for Jake LaMotta. There's a difference between LaMotta and Robert De Niro/Martin Scorsese's direction.
