Looks like the fight is signed... Im taking this fight to save boxing, says The Hayemaker. Im doing this for Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marciano, Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier and all the other great, smaller heavyweights of the past. I feel as though Ive been sent by all the great heavyweights of yesteryear to clean up and save the heavyweight division. Im a man on a mission to save boxing from this Eastern European invasion of Ivan Drago clones. The clean-up operation starts with Wladimir on June 20.
Imo Wlad wins by stoppage rds 5-7. Although i'm a David Haye fan, he is simply nowhere near ready/prepared for this at heavy yet.
i hope he wins purely for the good of the sport, wlad is so ****en boring to watch - the division is in desperate need of someone exciting so the average fan can get excited about the sport again.
Never a truer word has been spoken... You hit the nail on the head. Boxing fans can thank Haye for getting this thing going. The Bitchko's have been looking to go anywhere but through him...
What made you say that? 50% chance his publicity team came up with the "doing it for the samll guy" ****....or he spent 10 mins on BOXREC Haye is going down :dead
Because he spends time and posts on other forums, displaying a fairly sound depth of boxing knowledge. If you've heard the man speak you'd surely recognise he is fairly articulate. Whether he goes down or not is not the point here at all. He's getting an exciting fight made in an otherwise stagnant and quite frankly threadbare Heavyweight division.
Haye can do a Dempsey on Willard and drop him several times in the first if he lets his hands go. Dino Billinghurst
I just see Haye swinging away and ending up 6 inches short on his shots while eating jabs all night long :bart
