I've never been more interested in his fights than now. I hate everything Broner represents and love the way Paulie stood strong against both the boxing corruption and a physically superior specimen. Fight night he will be going against a pet referee, pet judges, and a much younger, undefeated power puncher, while having brittle hands, shot legs and body battered by the likes of Miguel Cotto and Amir Khan. But I want to believe, so badly, that the underdog will win, that I am actually making a thread about it

    War Malignaggi!!!:bbb:bbb

Broner is going to KO Pauli...Pauli is a good technical fighter but he is in the ring with a young great fighter.

It's funny, people used to strongly dislike & root against Malignaggi for a lot of the same reasons they now dislike & root against Broner.

True but paulie has that Italian thing going on, so sooner or later your going to forgive, Broner will always be hated

I was born and raised in Manhattan, NYC, so I always root for the hometown guys and it's hard not to root for Paulie in general, he's a very garrulous trash talker who knows how to hype his fights up.

I'm also a realist and recognize that Paulie has pretty much no chance against this kid. Broner is the real deal and I expect him to dominate this matchup. Paulie hasn't been in his prime form for several years, this fight should essentially end his fight career and help him transition full time into broadcasting.

I'm from the Big Apple, too, (at least I was 40 years ago), E. Much as I'd like ta see Paulie's hand raised, think you've expressed it perfectly.

I'll be at this fight. It's great that it's going to be in Brooklyn with a strong hometown crowd. I'm hoping Paulie can take it into deep waters like he is saying, and really test Broner.
