The guy is made out of granite i swear. I used to love playing as him on FNR3, and based my own boxers style on his. One of the most exciting brawlers the ring has had!

I loved watching Irish Mick fight!! He gave it his all every time out...I just wish he had a better promoter/manager who would have brought him up a little more slowly...he fought good fighters too frequently too soon. I wish Arum had signed Irish Mick...who knows what difference that might have made.

 

Micky Ward might have the best chin ever in boxing. This fighter even though is not a very good one has the heart as big as mexico.

 

Mickey Ward has balls the size of church bells, like Gatti.

 

Mickey could have an exciting fight with a broom stick! Gatti/Ward, Ward/Augustus, the list goes on.

 

Damn shame the Phillips fight turned out the way it did. This man deserves a world title on his resume.

Funny enough, I just got done watching all 3 Gatti-Ward fights back-to-back-to-back. His toughness is insane...

 

Ward Vs Neary is one of my favorite fights. Brilliant little war, shame Neary retired soon after.
