Ward-Abraham may happen in Cali, and despite the outrage, it will likely favor A.A.

    Any guesses why?

Hint: The jetlag may temporarily affect Abraham, but he will likely arrive early, therefore rendering it a non-factor. It could very well be the crowd that gives him the edge.

I know the Euros are waking up right about now so the timing's not too shabby.

If it happens in the Bay Area, I can go see it. But I still want Ward to get the **** out of Oakland.

I think he means that LA has like a million Armenians and they would show Abraham more support than Ward would get in LA.

That's exactly what I meant. Well done. Chances that it happens there are good.

as long as its not a "ward" in his pocket ref then i dont reallly care where this happens but on that note it is really unfair on the other guys that have fought out of town though this topic has been covered before......

    Are the Armenians patriotic?

Abraham had been really disappointing in the super 6 so far & may be due a good performance. He has a punchers chance here, if he can land a big shot flush then who knows? If it goes the distance I can only see the result going one way, Ward is a massive favourite.

I think the fact AA's such an undergog v Ward will help him. Even if he loses but makes it competetive his stock rises. Style wise I think this fight will make him look better than he did against Dirrell & Froch.

personally i think arthur has played his entire hand; the chances of him pulling something new out the hat are slim to nothing.
however, there is always the chance of landing that one big bomb (which is a chance he would have against anyone) but it's almost as far fetched as winning the lottery.

abrahams only source of redemption would be to start afresh with a new, experienced trainer and totally rethink his style (which is obviously a big ask for someone as long in the tooth as him).
saying that, froch managed it (against arthur) so i guess anything's possible. i dont see it happeining though. which is a shame cos i'd love to see abraham KO ward; ward is a skillful but unexciting and ugly fighter.....
