Anyone who would have understood that the semifinals were contracted to take place in the US.

Well if Ward boxes he`ll win but if he tries lunging forward with his head and fighting dirty theres a chance Abraham will catch him cold

Ottke was notorious for getting gift decisions when he fought in Germany.

Name me ONE fight Ward has had in his home town, that he won controversially.

People complain about headbutts, but he DESTROYED Kessler with his fists and one by a wide unanimous decision.

    Deal with it,:deal

The venue and the judges don't matter but the referee is essential: if he is not american and doesn't allow too much infighting then Abraham has a (small) chance to KO Ward; otherwise the cards are all set for Ward to begin with.
Ward didn't stop Green, does not have a heavy punch and does not throw that many punches per round. If Abraham managed Froch, Dirrel and Miranda i can easily see him survive Ward. Only way Ward stops AA by accumulation is by accumulation of headbutts (see the Kessler fight)

Ward fighting in CA. Big surprise there. Abraham's battered psychological state just got a little more fragile.

Fighting in CA is OK. Doesn't really matter where it take place but I'm sure that AA won't get the kind of beating he got form Froch. I won't watch this fight live though, it will probably be ugly. Of course I never, ever count out a big puncher as AA but I sure won't bet real money on him :).
Funny how this is considered a big mismatch but people don't bash Ward. "It's part of the contract" they say. Well, I say screw the contract! That's what Wardtards always say. Let him just **** on SHO's contract, get out and immediately ask for bigger matches with big names (of course, I'm not gonna give any, it's not my job; it's Ward's management duty). He can even go up to LHW beat the best there and afterwards come back and fight Martinez at a catch-weight.
