I can see DeGale giving Ward a tough fight, but DeGale has unfinished business with Groves.

So the only quality fights I see in the horizon for Ward is the Dirrell brothers. Froch and Abraham are most likely never going to fight Ward again. Maybe Bute might come down and fight Ward at SMW.

Sucks for the fights that wont happen, but if hes not a light heavy than its totally understandable.

My problem is with his and his fans attitude towards Golovkin for doing exactly what Ward is doing (staying in his own weightclass)

    Hypocrisy at its finest

In a year or so, or maybe even right now Ward Vs. Gilberto Ramirez or Fedor Chudinov could be very interesting.

An American fighter ducking tough opponents... and people are surprised?

Americans make a career from ducking. If you listed the top 10 duckers in boxing today the list would be entirely made up with Americans.

He should let them sort it out up there first. No rush. Stevenson and Kovalev will face off eventually and one or the other will have the lineal belt and undisputed status when Ward moves up.

i agree he should not move up until he grows out of the division but there is literally no one left to fight ? he is the king of 168. he should try and make the GGG fight then move up

The way I see it is this:
Kovalev still has unfinished business at 175
Triple G still has unfinished business at 160
Ward has cleaned out his divsion but has been inactive for quite sometime.
Let Kovalev and Triple G get huge fights this year they are there for them. Worry about Ward at some point in 2016

Nothing hypocritical about it. As has been repeatedly mentioned, one of them has already cleared out their weightclass, the other hasn't

Give GGG a chance to do the same before bracketing him with such a blatant duck

Ward does all his fighting through social media and smear campaigns geared to win the hearts and minds of idiots.

He probably has been reading Sol Olinsky during his ring inactivity.
