So why can't any Andre Ward thread go five posts before GGG's name gets brought up by a Ward fan?

Come on dude, Ward is moving up himself, he has had only one fight and that was not at the full 175 weight category. You talk like Ward been at 175 for years to make your argument plausible but it don't hold water. Ward gets ready the way he needs to and nothing is wrong with that. As long as his ultimate goal is Kovalev, how he gets there is irrelevant.l

It's the other way around. GGG fangirls are petrified of Ward and bring up his name/defend him any chance they can get.

Like I said, it doesn't matter because everybody knows where he's headed and that's to Kovalev. Everybody knows it's a tuneup for the real deal. If he's 168 and moving up and the guy he is fighting is 168 and moving up, what's the problem? He's not doing what you want him to do? Who are you? You won't be there taking the punches for him. GGG is not moving up. He is a champion and defending. He is supposed to defend against legit competition if that's what you call the gents he's been fighting. Frankly I could care less who he fights because I know what his game plan is. Ward is doing exactly what he needs to do and I am ok with that. As for Murray, I could truly give less than a rats ass what he does. I don't even watch his fights.

Getting acclimated to 175 can be done in the gym. That's what sparring is for. But this is just a larger money grab for Ward. He wants to be paid $2 million for what can be done in a gym. All this time off and he couldn't be ready for LHW. He is. He showed he was vs Paul Smith. But he just wants some easy money before the lawsuits start flying. I hope Jay Z has a good lawyer that has spent years in the trenches.

What about the 2nd fight in the HBO deal? Who will that be against? Because Kovalev is the 3rd fight according to all this unconfirmed gossip.

Which is why after Kovalev hopefully beats Pascal he should fight a complete bum. Because Ward wont be ready until at least late next year and would love for Kovalev to lose and not have to fight him. People sh!t on the Pascal fight but Jean is a much more dangerous threat than anybody Ward has ever faced. Pascal lost a close decision to a prime Froch. When Ward beat Froch he was shop worn.

Kovalev will probably fight the winner of Sullivan Barrera vs Igor Mikhalkin IBF title eliminator.
All the idiots will b*tch and cry about it without ever connecting the dots that it will be a mandatory defense and Ward won't be available anyways.

I have no idea although it will probably be a fighter in the Fonfara class. That will be the fine tuning, then it's on.

Does Andre Ward allow them to weigh him the night of his fights? I was just wondering what he rehydrates to?
