    This is getting very boring.

If Ward fights Kovalev and this thread gets bumped, your posts will be ridiculed.

I respect everyone's opinion on this matter, and it depends what the criteria is.

Personally, I would put him on the list, because he's now active again, and he's one of the best fighters on the planet.

    So what?

    You've named me four guys.

Is Ward the only guy to ever require a few tune ups after he's been out for a while?

Ward shouldn't be congratulated on taking these kinds of fights. But at the same time, he shouldn't be heavily criticised either.

You can however duck someone 1 weightclass above that you and your team said you wanted to fight, at a wieghtclass that you have said you would fight 2 other fighters for, and when that person says ok, you come back and say nope, 164.. That's a duck.

Not a bad top 5, mine is similar, only I would switch Crawford and GGG.

If Ward faces and beats Kovalev next year, as is the plan. He immediately moves to number 1. IMO

I respect your list, but it just goes to show how subjective it is.

Kovalev's best wins have been against Pascal and a 50 year old Hopkins.

    Who's GG beaten?

    Who's Gonzalez beaten?

    What's the criteria?

If that's your list, it's cool. But you shouldn't have any issue with anyone putting Ward on theirs.

Curiously Loudon, what would an approximation of your top 10 look like these days?

I've honestly never given it much thought.

Again, it depends what the criteria is.

Most lists that I've seen are basically just a list of a fans favourite fighters.

I can perfectly understand why people wouldn't put Ward on it. But he'd definitely be on mine.

    So I don't know.

The ones I've seen recently have Wlad at 1, with Kov 2, and Gonzalez or GG at 3.

    I've no issue with that.

I was surprised to see Kell Brook there, but I've no issue with that either.

Agreed, but don't you think its premature to give him credit before he fights someone with a full training camp, and at their natural weight?

Mike Tyson was a shell of his former self but still on many people's top list simply because of his past accomplishments. I doubt Ward is as self destructive as Mike was, but there has to be an underlying reason as to why he picks such horribly over matched opponents. Maybe he feels he lost his edge and needs to find it again.

Being in hall of fame does not mean he knows boxing. A virgin won't stop being a virgin by describing two people have *** on national television.

As for Rigo, he is the second biggest talent in the entire boxing world today, and NOT including him is a travesty against the sport. He beat Donaire, at Nonito's best weight, when the latter was considered a top p4p fighter. None of the people on your list with exception of Kovalev have done that.

None of us know if that reply was sent to Ward. GGG's manager however did tell *********** and fighthype. Who reported that. So, if its false premise, then it's based off info that his team reported.

GG has beaten a bunch of no hopers and does not belong on any pfp list. He's 33 years old and has not fought one good tough fighter in their prime. He hasn't even been in a true fight yet. We are tired of these overmatched fights and the fans are too which is why his ppv was a failure.

Only complete idiots don't have Golovkin in p4p top 10. All credible lists contain him.

"We" who are tired are those complete idiots.

So, the comment was still made though?!? Whether it was meant to be published or not, It was still made. No further research needed, I don't really care one way or the other. GGG has skill, But their is a new sheriff in town named Crawford. He will be the next big thing. :good
