Its not really the lack of power that concerns me. Its Ward's mobility. He was never a really fast fighter with hand or feet. And I keep looking at the right shoulder and all the Cryogen therapy he uses during his training camps. Send a sign of an injured fighter.
He didn't complain about the shoulder last night. No excuses...man up. Ward looked very strong last night. Ward will be sitting right in front of Kov come fight night. That's what you do with so called punchers. You give them something to think about by countering them just as hard, give them movement, side to side or stand in front of them. The greats always find a way to win by any means necessary.
Good an@lysis about Kov lacking inside fighting while Ward is very good and good at playing dirty on the inside (head control, forearm in the face...etc). Kov and Jackson need to work on not letting Ward tie him up and keep him mid range. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ward does lack the natural right hand but that is partly Virgil's fault for switching young Ward from natural southpaw to an orthodox. He left him with a strong left jab but a weak power hand. He should've left him a southpaw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
