Ward and Kovalev ATM should be at a 171-172 catchweight if it happens now.

MVC stirring the pot again :stir

"He can't make LHW healthy". That might be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard in boxing

He's in his 30's already, there is no waiting until he can't make 168. He cleared the division out of names that matter. The only reason other decent names have popped up is because he waited 2 years before fighting anyone that mattered.

Smith was 184 Saturday morning, Ward was similar if not more, I bet both Smith and Ward were at 190 on fight night.
This is Beter's and Kovalev's fight weight.

In 3-4 years, he'll be able to make 175 I reckon.

Ward was high 70's during his fight with Smith, maybe very low 80's.

Let him fight Kovalev already. If he loses, he's still a great fighter, boxing isn't about the "0". He will be respected for taking that fight alone, win or lose. But if he wins he's an ATG. It's not like he will 100% lose, he's one of the hardest guys to outpoint. Make it happen.

When he can comfortably make that weight division, we'll see that fight don't worry.

Making him go up unhealthily is bull****.

Right now, he should dominate 168 again. When he can make 175 in a couple of years, we'll see that big fight.

According to boxing fans, if you lose, you're a bum.

It is time for Ward to fight a savage puncher. He must fight Kovalev @ 175 to prove his Chin. They are both with HBO so the fight can be made easy.

Do you use the same logic to GGG as well? And should the belts be on the line?

Kovalev has had trouble making the 175 pound limit in the past. A weight drained Kovalev has absolutely no chance of beating Ward. The fight will eventually happen once Ward decides to campaign at light heavyweight.

This. If he is a true 168 pounder he wouldn´t fight at catch weight. If that´s not logical, what is? And if his weight isn´t a problem why is´t that he refuse to reveal his weight at the fight day?
