I've told you guys about Ward sending spies to his opponent's camps before and now he's got his new best buddy Bryant Jennings and god knows who else from John David Jackson's gym spying on Kovalev for him. atsch

He got Brandon Gonzales to spy on Kessler for him before their fight. Kessler's trainer Jimmy Montoya mentioned Ward sent a spy to his camp in one of the pre-fight build up shows to Kessler vs Froch 2 on Sky Sports.

“I was in his position in 2009, a hungry challenger, when I fought Kessler,” said Ward.

“The difference is that Kessler took me lightly,” he said. “I know my opponent. I do my research on guys. They think they’re catching me at the right time. Edwin Rodriguez never looked our way and he thinks this is the right time to get me, but he’s wrong. I feel completely different and better, like I have a new ****nal. I have a lot of power in both hands.”

Listen carefully to what Ward says here regarding stuff he knows about Edwin Rodriguez, from his sparring sessions to walking around camp in plastic and struggling to get down in weight. He says he'd been doing his homework on Rodriguez for the past 2 or 3 years, because if he sees anyone who is remotely in his weight class, a guy that he could potentially fight, he's got his ear to what's going on.
