That wouldnt shock me and he looks beatable and as you note slow. Ward hasnt shown interest in facing boxer/mover types
You think Andre could be lineal champ in 2 divisions at the same time like Floyd? :admin Everyone knows Kovalev and Beterbiev are packing glass :hey
Great news. He could end up p4p #1 at the end of the year if Floyd loses and he fights Froch after this
Yes. Slow being the optimal word. Plus he's rated as high as #2 by the WBC (don't ask why), as high as #4 by the WBA (don't ask why), as high as #3 by the IBF (don't ask why), has fought on HBO Latino, the fight's in California (lots of Mexicans live in California) ... And HE'S VERY SLOW. Did I mention that before? The part about him being slow?
Unless he has somehow convinced Froch to fight in Oakland I will be disappointed. I suspected the fight wouldn't get made and this only confirms my fears. WBA mandated he must face Froch, will he be stripped of his title? WBA ordered fight must take place with Froch by the 28th June.
how does he intend to fill 20K seats? MVC said he won't see it live, so that brings the fightnight audience down to 11
Bizarre if true. Ward as the actual champion is the one who is expected to be stripped if the fight doesn't happen as the onus is on the champion to face his number one contender not the other way round. It's like demoting a number 1 contender if the can't come to terms. And if they can't come to terms it goes to purse bids and with Ward arranging another fight isn't he the one who has clearly avoided the fight? Also the WBA is going to make far more money in fees from any Froch fight compared to any Ward fight. Very strange if true.
