This fight might sell better than Ward usually does, because it is a legit fight unlike his other fights. People might actually buy tickets to see a guy who might win, I know I would if I was in the area.

I agree. But Ward needs to do something to Barrera to get all those fans coming back! Taking Barrera's head clean off would work! If it turns into another grappling match Ward is only hurting himself fans wise.

GGG applies to this even more so than Ward, at least Ward beat some good fighters, GGG has fought no one I would consider good. If he proves himself against some decent competition my opinion will change.

Ward just hasn't done anything at all in years and years. He shouldn't even be rated right now nor should he take over his previous ranking based off performances from years past

Ward will close the distance before those looping haymakers arrive. Its going to be an ugly fight for a few rounds maybe.

My problem with most is consistency. They tend to have different rules for their fighters than they do for other fighters, always contradicting themselves. Ward is going for that #1 P4P, that also happens to help his legacy, and most importantly, his bank account. No surprise to me that the boxing public is responding positively to that. Those P4P lists are like the Oscar's anyways.

The majority of people loves Bhop and he is very popular, and as achieved more than most ever will in boxing. Everyone hates Broner and he sucks pretty bad.

The hate for "blacks" is closer to hate of the thug culture of some black fighters. If there were a bunch of whites, latinos, or asians getting a lot of publicity for say a bunch of dumb stuff or getting arrested for woman beating then we'd hate them too.

It makes me chuckle every time somebody claims this as well since there are more loved black fighters than there are hated black fighters and all the hated fighters have a single thing in common, But of course, fans of those fighters resort to yelling racism instead of actually looking at the situation objectively.
