Michael Buffer has wider shoulders than GGG. I have a feeling GGG will finish his career at 160. He's too small to move up to 168 at his age.

    250K. That's a more than fair offer.

No. Barrera is undefeated and is Kovalev's mandatory. 300k is a minimum. 450k is fair.

I would say at least double what Smith got and it also depends how much Ward is getting. Ward should get double what Barrera gets because he is more established fighter. So if the fight follows some kind of business rules (about 300k-600k will turn TV on) total money that they get is around 1-2,5M. Barrera should get minimum 333k-833k. It´s a dangerous fight for Barrera as well.

333-833k is a pretty big difference

When did I say he was being greedy? :huh

I don't like attaching values to fighters. I have no idea what anyone is worth. I don't think Floyd was worth more than $200 million for a single fight, and yet he still managed to pull it off, so power to him.

I don't even know what Ward supposedly offered Barrera or what Barrera is even asking for? Nor do I know what type of money Barrera's made in the past, and I have no way of gauging his team's strategy/objectives going into this possible fight.

Didn't I ask you these very same questions?

All I'm seeing here is one side claiming Ward low-balled him, and the other side saying Barrera is pricing himself out.

But I wouldn't be surprised if this was a nearly done deal, and if this wasn't their way of beginning the "hype". I could be wrong, but at the very least fans seem to be talking about this situation.

Barrera hasn't fought anyone of note to deserve that kind of purse.
