Looks like a deal was reached for Andre Ward to take on Sulivan Barrera on March 26th in Oakland at the Oracle Arena! Source : *****talk :happy :bbb
For the first time in almost 5 years, Ward has finally done something that he doesn't need to be embarrassed about in relation to boxing. I honestly didn't think he would opt to fight a live body, Barrera is not a bad opponent especially for first full fledged fight in the division.
I really didn't think Ward would take this fight. The moment he steps in the ring with Barrera I'll give him full credit, win or lose. This is a great fight. Great, great fight. Thurman vs Porter and Ward vs Barrera on the same month. Breath taking match ups!
Hey anything can happen. Struck by lightning, head on with a Locomotive, heart attack, stroke, jail sentence, drug rehab etc.:? Thats why I laugh when I hear guys giving Ward a pass to fight bums by saying he will fight Kovalev at the end of 2016.atsch
To be honest with you. I can even count GGG's last 5 opponents in order that he faced. I never really even watched a Golovkin fight until 2014. I think I saw the Rosado fight first then caught the Steven or Murray fight cant recall. Feel free to go back and look at all my posts during 2014. I bet you wont find me talking about Golovkin.:yep He just wasn't on my radar until mid 2015. :thinkThat's when I decided to go back and watch some of his fights. And yes he has never face an A level opponent. :verysadOther than that I'm sorry I cant help you!:hi:
