Yeh but out of these fights we've mentioned, styles clash. and ward is gonna have serious trouble with kovalev, a powerful ultra aggressive puncher who hits anywhere and has good timing and distance. chad is a lazy fighter, he doesnt possess any great qualities. it was a superior boxer outboxing a lesser boxer with chin problems and who was drained. you can call kovalev a slugger though, you obviously dont appreciate subtle offensive skills. :good he has boxing skills and he will land on ward. ward will have to fight with fire, i dont think he can hustle out kovalev then go back to boxing him with the same composure. :thumbsup
Kovalev won't control the distance against Ward. You can believe that. I don't call Kovalev just a slugger. Like I said before, I am a Kovalev fan and he has surprising agility. That footwork drill he does while bouncing a ball is very impressive. Nevertheless, he is not the boxer that Ward is and it will show if they ever get into the ring together.
well aslong as ward shows a great chin and keep to his boxing and hustling he can win, otherwise its ominous for ward to be ktfo. he will struggle.
That's an awful comparison. Ward and Dawson are basically the same size and fought one weight class apart at the time. Gonzalez is a ****ing flyweight for ****s sakes!
Since the Mayweather Pacquiao fight he's been a bit of a lost soul. All his birthdays and christmas' came at once and now he doesn't know what to do with himself. He tried to jump on the Wilder bandwagon but it's too easy to tear down with Wilder being a joke and all. Thus, he's gone for the next best thing to Mayweather - an annoying yet very talented American who seems to be determined to not make the most of his talents. Step forward Andre Ward.
Really ??? No bearing ??? First of all, p4p rankings are absolutely arbitrary unless they are computer generated. There are no rules on what they are based on which makes all these ranking just fun to see lists with no real base behind them. Second: any decent p4p lists take all fights into account and specifically fights between fighters on the list. If Mayweather lost to Canelo, most lists would have Canelo above him.
atsch What kind of logic is that? YOU must realize that the pound for pound rankings are based on a range of criteria. :deal
He tainted that by using performing enhancing brass knuckles. I don't care what USADA say, there is no way those knuckle dusters were for medical purposes. Dehydrated or not he should never have been allowed them.
But at least he was tested by the WWE's legit wellness policy and not USADA for that fight. It was the only fight since he had his ears boxed off by some Bulgarian sanitation worker in the Olympics in 1996 that he was clearly clean.
All Vince McMahon related business aside, do you think Mayweather being exposed as a doper would be bigger or smaller deal than Lance Armstrong's fall from grace?
