lol if they dont pay Ward he is not going to the UK. He will just continue to fight on HBO and not worry about it. Froch doesn't want the fight anyway

No one is putting up the money needed to bring Ward to whup Froch's axe in the UK. Froch and company know he can't win.

 

Well, when you look at the scorecards tonight, you can understand why he would be apprehensive about travelling to the UK to fight. It wasn't robbery or anything, but two of those cards were pretty wide. Since Ward isn't likely to knock Froch out, he'll need a VERY convincing performance to win in the UK. I still hope he'll do it, though - not many other good fights left at the top of the division.

 

He should take the trip, yes he beat both Froch and Kessler BUT look at the fan-base that Froch is bringing in.

Ward is the man. One of the perks of being the man is having every single advantage in your favor. If another boxer doesn't like it, beat him and take his spot. This has always been what boxing is about.

 

pretty much spot on ! Froch can draw files in UK and fill big arenas ! Froch doesn't need Ward as much as Ward needs Froch, period !

if Ward will continually act like he's "the guy who calls the shots at 168" he'll end fighting nobody worthy ! Ward has to travel in UK and rematch Froch if he wants to make some good bucks and draw some attention ! :yep

Had nothing to do with being US and everything to do with being a *****. I've noticed more than a little incompetence when they score fights. Not that they own that exclusively, but they seem to be more incompetent than most since they have probably never actually been in a real physical dual.
