    Not too impressive really. For the sake of comparison, Golovkin vs. Wade averaged 1,325,000 viewers.

    Thoughts??

    We only care about Ward and Kov's numbers. And they don't really matter ****head.

    In real ghetto speak;

    We know Golovkin would be the A side but we cannot admit the reality...suddenly numbers don't matter....

    I feel sorry for Ward at this point.

    Ward doesn't need your sympathy. He is about to get paid millions when he fights Kovalev while you get paid nothing for trolling on a boxing messageboard daily.

    They are different type of fights. Ward isn't a big puncher and Brand was slated as being completely outclassed for this fight and it didn't have much of a build up because of how late the fight itself was made. Ward's style makes it so that it was likely going to be a UD and Brand's skill level made it appear that he would get outclassed every single round. That just isn't exciting. This was never going to do big numbers.

    GGG vs anyone is going to be more interesting because at least GGG can deliver a devastating knockout and who doesn't want to see that?!

    Ward is still a draw and a big name. Probably comparable to GGG, but after this fight with Brook I fully expect GGG to make the gap between the two very clear. If Ward somehow manages to beat Kovalev, which I do not think he will, then he will probably either surpass GGG or be around neck and neck with him.

    Who is we?:lol::huh.

    Look cavity creep, the numbers didn't matter when Floyd fought because you all cried numbers didn't matter and they still don't matter. GG won't ever be the A side if he ever fought Ward, lmfao. He has a failed ppv. Not that I care as long as I get to see a fight but after all that's happened, GG won't ever be the A side over Ward.

    If Ward beats Sergey he would be the A side over GGG IMO. If Ward gets brutally SKULL ****ED by The Krusher... Well then GGG maintains his current position as the A side 👍🏼

    Who cares? Ward is on to bigger fish. Maybe when Golovkin moves up to 168 they can work something out.

    i don't give a damn about viewership. i don't like things simply because others do. that being said, funny how people who think only viewership numbers matter, now say they don't...
