Ward - Brand seems to be on

The majority of under cards for big events have been poor in recent years.

Having a world class fighter who's on the P4P list, fighting against anybody, can't possibly weaken the card.

We don't know what's in his contract with regards to percentages etc though.

He's on mine because he's resumed his career, and he's clearly one of the best fighters on the planet.

The last time I looked, Kell Brook was on it.

 

When did you drop him from "your" P4P list? Or did you never have him on the Barcham list?

 

But Kell Brook beat the great Shawn Porter. And beside this, Ward's comprehensive victories over Kessler, Froch, Abraham, and Dawson look incredibly insignificant.

Looks like Ward is fighting another SMW even though he is now a LHW and is leading people to believe he is heading towards Kovalev

and the super middleweight is Alexander Brand? Ward is just taking the p***.

Ward is joke now, nobody can defend this s***, it is embarrassing.

 

I await possible new developments in the Barcham list with extreme interest.

 

Even these new Ward fans aren't coming to his rescue in this thread. He has become THAT pathetic.
I was ok with Ward saying that GGG had to fight him at 168 (with the understanding that under that term, GGG would dictate everything else including money) No problem with it at all.


HOWEVER... when you start calling a guy names like "Little G" and insinuating he doesn't want to fight you, tell LIES about him turning down a fight, then try to be fighting embarrassingly bad opponents such as Murdock, that other guy and now this dude who will be 3 months away from being 39 and is a career super middle you lose ALL CREDIBILITY.

 

People are putting way too much emphasis on this fight. Yes it is Ward's LHW debut. But, it is on the undercard of one of the year's most anticipated matchups. No one is coming to see Andre Ward. But, it's the biggest stage he has been on and it will be a great opportunity to get himself noticed by some casuals that might later be tuning in to his PPV against Kovalev (assuming it is PPV).

Ward needs to look impressive...even get a KO if possible. And he needs to not take too much risk (in terms of opponents). There's a lot at stake. I can't criticize his choice of opponent too much (never heard of the guy). He might be pretty good. I'm just glad to see Ward in the ring and on the road to a big fight.
