Ward: Bute needs to beat 1 or 2 A-level guys & come out of his hometown to get a shot

I would love nothing more then to see Bute vs Ward but Ward is actually right here because honestly if the fight came off right now and Ward shut Bute out and made him look like a clown everyone would say "Bute was overrated who's he ever beat blah blah blah" and anyone that says otherwise is lying to themselves or just doesn't know this sport.

Dirrel, Froch, Kessler would all be good fights to see how good he really is because lets face its the two best fighters he fought are Bika and Andrade and neither of those guys are at Dirrel, Froch, or Kesslers level. Helll Ward took Bika as a TUNE UP!!!!!

I'll take the fight whenever it happens but it would make it a much better fight and more meaningful if Bute fought another top 5 guy. And Ward deserves a easy tune up after fighting Kessler, Green, Bika, Abraham and Froch in his last 5 fights. Fighting another fighter thats the level of Allen Green I'd have no problem with Ward taking.

Yeah Ward never had to travel and you know what he got lucky but most American fighters usually never do and have the money to get there challengers to come to them and now that he is at the top of the division he doesnt have to leave his hometown so stop bitching and get over it. I said this once and Im gonna say it again. Bute has the boxing skills to beat Andre Ward and at this moment he is a worthy and dangerous opponet. Ward knows it. Hes not scared but hes cautious and I dont fault him for that. Hwever people tend to think that because Ward honed his skills against the likes of Kessler, Abraham, Green, and Froch that it makes him sharper than Bute. What Ward was learning how to do, Bute already knew. His skillset and his mind is ready, all he needs to do is get physically ready, and once again, its a 50/50 proposition.

 

Actually he left Oakland 21 times to fight....... And has fought outside of Cali 6 times. Good to see you can count though.:good
