Ward - Bute?

Dont`t be enthousiastic so fast. It`s a big victory, nevertheless.
Bute has a clearer style, Ward seems to have more angles.
At this point we can`t see clear.
Let`s see the nest week match.

After all, Ward respects Bute (from his declarations) and just won the belt.
Bute has three defences of the belt already.
It is possible, though, to have in the future a fight Ward-Bute at MGM for the best SMW.

Bute stops Ward in 9-11 rounds.

Now that I've seen recent action from all six fighters in the tourney, it's very clear that Lucian Bute is #1 at 168. The tournament is meaningless for any purpose other than setting up a mandatory for Bute.

 

Bute, like Kessler, has not beaten anyone yet. Andrade was tailor made for him and he got KO'd.

 

Andre Ward would outbox and outfight Bute to a victory.

 

Ward by close decision.

 

Hard to say......50-50....will wait and see how Bute looks with Andrade.

Ward, I don't think Bute is as good as advertised.

I thought I knew who was gonna win the first 3 fights of the Super Six and I was dead wrong. You can't base predictions on logic and well thought arguments. When comes fight night all that is thrown out the window.

The only way to really know who's better is for them to fight.

 

Is there any fighter that you think Ward can beat??? I mean damn man you have picked against him in every matchup

 

I have to say Bute is capable of fighting better than Kessler did last night.

And well, Bute presents a different style, I'm sure he'd give Ward something to think about.

 

couldnt agree more. before the tournament i thought taylor would win by UD. Dirrel by close decision(almost) and the ward Kessler was my toss up.(one sided abuse)

logic goes out the window definitely. Bute and andrade would make you think that andrade may have bute's number from the final 2 rounds but come fight night we may see a well adjusted Bute who controls the distance and pace and simply outboxes andrade without much effort. thats what IMO think will happen.

Now Ward vs Bute based on the showing from Ward last night would make me believe ward would win with seeing as he has the intangibles that andrade will never have.

he should be able to apply effective pressure not be outboxed and seems to have superb stamina and quick hands and feet to the final bell.

but still you never really know until they get in the ring.

i choose ward for sake of argument.

an impressive showing by Bute in his next outing may change that.

 

Bute should have been in the tournament.


Ward will not fight unless he gets all his fights in his hometown.

Ward and Dirrell will not fight, they will just hold each other.
