    Kessler?

And does it really matter if only a few of the SMW's were proven? Good fights were being made, that's all that matters.

During the Super 6 most boxing fans considered 168 to be up there with the best.

Sad when a fighter needs to call out a guy who's been out the game for a while and been on the marching powder. He's got no tests left at 168lbs..

Joe's done, Either wait at 168lbs for likes of Golovkin and Martinez or even Chavez or venture north to 175lbs.

Calzaghe would never have fought Ward until Ward was 40.

:deal agreed. Those divisions are **** poor especially 175 that's why Dawson felt a need to go to 168 because his own division doesn't have one single good fight to make. Thanks to the S6 there is nothing left to do or see at 168 exept Ward rematches with either Kessler or Froch. And he has to travel this time.

Agreed. ****ing stupid thing to do and it was proved not feasible. Highlights the direness of 175 that Dawson felt he had to do that

175 to fight who? That is a terrible division. To be honest there's not many places for Ward to go now

Wards record is already much better than Calzaghes, nobody can deny this

Well he ain't got much else to fight has he, may as well go up and collect belts at 175 if no one comes calling. Nothing seems to be on the horizon at 168 IMO. Least with 175lbs he can add some belts to his ever growing resume.

Two weight world champion has a nice ring to it when talking about past glories..

What's Calzaghe got to lose fighting Ward? Nothing really?

Nobody gives a **** about his undefeated record. He'd get mad props for facing Ward, even if he does get beat.

Let's say Joe lost a close decision. 112-115, something like that. Would it really hurt his legacy? Not at all if you ask me. If anything, it'll enhance it

Exactly, which means Calzaghe has nothing to lose.

He should take the money & make the fight

As far as I know it was Virgil Hunter who called Joe out not Ward. Hopefully Ward will stay classy and and not get involved.
As for future opponents, I'd like to see him go to 175 and whip Pascal, be interesting to see how he deals with the speed. To be honest though I can only see Campillo giving him a decent scrap and thats a fight thats never going to happen.

Calzaghe as said many times he would only fight for 10 million pounds. Could this fight generate him that much?
