Ward would clearly take this now but five years ago Joe would edge a decision.

 

doing what Carl Froch did after the Jermain Taylor fight and calling him out because he KNOWS its never going to happen.

 

and Joe would adapt to wards adaptations.....

 

silly debating this because its never going to happen just wish hatton and haye had followed suit and knocked it on the head when they announced they were going too.

 

To be fair, I don't agree with most of what you say, but I do agree with this. Only 1-2 years ago people were saying the SMW was an embarrassment of riches and now all of a sudden it's a weak division when one fighter dominates. Too many fanboys of different fighters in the division that are now butthurt because Ward cleaned up imo (and I'm no fan of Ward but you'd have to be a spastic to see he's not a potential ATG).

Boxing has got to a sorry state now with all these catchweight fights being made at elite level when in a lot of divisons nobody even knows who the number one is as the proposed pest two rarely getting it on due to politics,tv,ducking.
