The hypocrisy is hilarious. PBF was a proven elite who dominated the sport for 20 years through 5 weight classes. GGG has yet to prove himself to be elite his fans will make every excuse in the book for him not to face Ward, it's pathetic actually. Who's ward? GGG has more sense than to fight a more than 20 pound heavier Ward in his hometown of Oakland. Abel Sanchez wouldn't let him any way . Ward wont fight anywhere else but at home with his homeboys as officials . I wonder who that reminds me of????

Wow it feels weird to start a post about Ward knowing I'm not going to criticise him and actually say positive things.

He made the offer, 50/50 is fare enough and there wasn't even an attempt to negotiate terms. It seems Ward has realised he can't always be expected to be on the A-side of every deal and has begun to make compromises.

As for Golovkin's team turning the fight down, it's not surprising. Golovkin hasn't even cleaned out his own division, though that's not his fault, to expect him to fight a top P4P fighter is a lot to ask. I have never thought they wanted it, at this point.

But of course we have to see why Golovkin turned the offer down. He very well may have valid reasons, we don't know the actual details of the offer other than it was 50/50.
