People should let Joe enjoy his retirement. He's nearly 40 FFS.

Joe is happy in retirement he his ego doesn't have maniacal proportions he would need to think he can make a successfull comeback. He admitted after the Kessler fight that age was catching up with him and his style depends way too much on attributes that go first with age.

Ward wouldn't get credit. JC is old, long lay off and, according to some, over-rated anyway.
There's a reason JC only fought the oldies after Kessler. He knew he was slowing with age.

No - and no need to... What would a fight between and young Ward on the top of his game against a 40 years old fighter who hadn't fought for several years prove??? (unless of course Calzaghe beats him ;))

Leave Calzaghe is his well deserved retirement and let Ward try to make his name on the fights at hand to day.

For crying out loud. Drop the subject. You sound like Froch FFS!

He is retired and has damaged his body enough and is enjoying retirement. He is not coming back so get over it. He has nothing to prove to anyone

Thread should be called "Some Yanks will never be happy until they see Calzaghe lose." because that's the bottom line.

They'll still be moaning 50 years from now on their death beds "Please Joe, just one more fight, Joe, one more. Well, maybe two more, or three. Just as long as we see you lose, please, Joe, just lose".
