Ward-Dawson will also be a snoozefest

i'm a hardcore boxing fan. but this fight is between the two biggest bores in boxing today. that's just the truth.

i'll watch it if it's on, but there's no way in hell i'll be putting myself out for a fight that i know will be ugly as hell. their will be no technical brilliance from andre ward either. he doesn't have it. he never did.

he will maul and hold for the duration. it won't be pretty.

dawson will be his usual zombie self. and even if he were to win the fight in most people's minds, he won't be getting the decision in jokeland.

this fight has the makings for the biggest stinker in history. it will probably make wlad vs ibrogimov look like a classic.

don't be getting your hopes up.

That had to have been the most boring 24/7 to date, hopefully the fight is more exciting. They just need to scrap the build-up and get straight to the fight, these guys have less personality than Tim Bradley.

To each his own I guess....I for one generate goose bumps just thinking about this fight, then again I thought Cotto vs Floyd was one of the best fights of the year. I'm a sucker for technical fights I actually love them and I "Lust" good barn burners like the up coming Martinez vs Chavez, both are skilled in their own right but there won't be much of a chess match here just a test of wills.

 

At worst, it's a clinchfest in which Dawson tries to grab and out-maul an overanxious Ward who falls in on the inside at every opportunity. But that's not what I expect. I think Ward is going to take more of a higher activity in-and-out approach like he took with Froch, rather than the type of fight he fought against Bika and Abraham. With someone as physically talented and stylistically well-rounded as Dawson, Ward might have to work harder to gain his respect and take control of the fight by overwhelming his ability to anticipate, countering from the outside and following up in the pocket. But even if it doesn't turn out that way, I expect entertaining high-quality boxing between two sound fighters.

 

I enjoy watching technical fights. This will be good for me

Yup huuuuuge borefest. Even 24/7 reflects on how ****ing boooooring they are. I'll probably fall asleep by the 3rd round. By then there will already be 6x headbutts, 30x clinching, x10 sloppy boxing (but tards will find a way to call it "slick")

Definitely not looking forward to Alexander beating old ass Bailey in a boring UD or Ward with a UD clinch fest.

Dont see why people just cant accept that some fans actually like to watch a chess match of 2 talented fighters.
