That's bull****, I'm actually looking forward to the fight, but if you're not then it doesn't mean you're not a proper fan. Everyone has different preferences
Thats what i think 2 guys in there prime fighting and 2 very skilled guys at that will be better than folks think.
it will be as interesting as their 24/7. but the series already show what we know. great nice family men who can be your next door neighbor but just happen to fight at a world class level.
No lapses vs Bhop! If Dawson respects you going in, then mentally he'll be prepared to go 12. I dont expect any mental lapses from Dawson vs Ward.
You talk about sloppy boxing, and then say you're anticipating Rios/ Alvarez? I'm not gonna say everybody should appreciate a technical matchup, but if you're not going to be consistent, that just makes you a hypocrite.
if you appreciate and understand the science of boxing then this fight cannot be boring. it's also exciting for the simple fact that it has the biggest implications for the winner out of any other fight this year.
It won't be action packed per se but every punch will count, that's exciting to me. I can't wait to see it.
Dawson will make it a sloppy ugly fight, Ward will be in there too. Let me guess, you thought Dawson-BHop II was some sort of "clinic" featuring two slick boxers showcasing their top skill? Jesus man. I don't call that slick, it's disturbing to watch two men hugging all day, that's why I'm anticipating Rios/Alvarado.
Will be a great match. Not to mention a good undercard. Anyone got the 24/7 first episode? Missed it last weekend.
I thought bhop was just playing games. Every black fighter is not slick. The slickest fighter I've ever seen is Pernell Whitaker and not many compare to him. I don't think anyone calls that slick. What happened was bhop uttered the words "slick black fighter" and people are just being jackasses about it, assuming every black fighter is slick. That's stupid. Look at the fighter on the damn screen. If he looks slick then he is. Just say you don't like fighters that clinch.
That's what I've been implying the whole time. I dislike fighters who excessively clinch, headbutt, elbow, and hit while in a clinch/break. I find it very sloppy to watch that stuff. I'm already getting Bradley-Devon flashbacks. Cringe worthy.
I think Dawson's lack of punching is what's going to cost him moreso than anything he tries to throw or does land.
For all the people saying this will be a boring fight, I'm just wondering if you guys have boxed before? I'm not trying to talk ****, just honestly curious.
